I have learned that I am going to be a mother. I did not hesitate to say, «Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.” This news fills me with hope. What is going to happen? How will this adventure change my life?
In the face of the news of pregnancy, every woman, and every man – especially if it’s their first time – asks these questions. What motivates them to move forward? The love for a little person they have not even met yet. The love for their partner.
The love with which they were raised and that they will be able to offer.
All of that fills them with hope. Today begins a new adventure, a new Advent. Are you capable of perceiving the love that surrounds you and embracing a mindset of hope?
