THE LAST SUPPER WITH YOUR FRIENDS

Ignatius of Loyola discovers that the mission to which he feels called, he has to do with others, with his group of friends.

A group of friends who act with freedom, affection and although they know that they are going to live apart they have a common project that unites them.

What are your ideals? Can you achieve them alone or do you also need your friends to support you?

It is also a good time to plan a dinner together and share your ideas with each other.

Seize the moment! Do not miss the opportunity to dream together!

THE SENDING!

How do you react when a friend asks you for help?

What if you know they need it and don’t tell you anything or ask for your help?

Open your eyes, stay alert to the needs of yourself and your friends.

If one of them needs you today, do not hesitate to volunteer yourself.

It’s a great way to water the plant of friendship.

Sunday 10 of April

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Today is Palm Sunday, at Mass the Passion of Jesus is read. Today begins a decisive week in the life of Jesus and in ours.

Jesus enters Jerusalem victorious, but the following days will be days of doubt, betrayal, loneliness… Doesn’t it happen to you that you remember God when you are wrong or need a miracle? Now Jesus needs his friends to accompany him. Get ready for Holy Week, become aware and think about how you can accompany Jesus.

MARY: AND SHE DID NOT SEPARATE HERSELF FROM HIM

«At the foot of the cross of Jesus was his mother … «. Mary never departs from Jesus. She is always there. When it was all hopes and dreams… and also when the night became darker than ever on the cross.

Perhaps in your dark nights you have been able to count on people who have not separated themselves from you. Maybe they couldn’t do anything, but their very presence is a sign that God will never leave you alone.

Recalltheir faces and give thanks for their lives

NO EXCUSES

Jesus approached those who were repudiated by society, lepers, foreigners, children… people who approached Jesus in faith. How do you approach the most excluded people in our society? Immigrants, homeless people, children at risk of exclusion, people with special abilities… How do you  look at them? Think about what you could do to act more like Jesus and be closer to reality, a conversation, a plate of hot food, collaborate in the parish, in an NGO…

TAKE OFF YOUR MASK

Sometimes we show  ourselves as others want us to be, we see ourselves having attitudes that do not fit with us, listening to a group that does not fit with me or watching a series that everyone sees, but  it does not tell me anything … DO NOT be afraid to show yourself as you are, if you prefer to watch a documentary, volunteer, listen to classic rock, read history books… all of that makes you yourself and has great value. God made us different and so He loves us.

COMPANIONS IN THE LORD

When St. Francis Xavier leaves on his mission, he leaves behind all his companions, whom he will never see again. He himself says that he cut out their signatures from the letters he received, including that of Ignatius, and always carried them with him. This is how he feels with them, companions in the Lord, friends in the Lord.

Today is a day to remember your companions in the Lord, those with whom you share community and journey, and to whom you are united by something that goes beyond friendship. Let them know, with a call, a message… that you carry their names in your heart.

Tuesday 5 of April

MY ACTIONS, THEIR CONSEQUENCES.

We live in a society that wants to convince us that we are all-powerful. That nothing and no one can stop us, that the most important thing is to put myself at the center and act always looking for what is best for me.

However, you are not alone or living isolated in a bubble. All your actions have consequences on those around you and on the Creation we are called to inhabit.

Make this Lent the occasion to become aware of how everything you do has consequences for others.

FOR ME AND FOR ALL MY COLLEAGUES

Those who are by your side every day, those who dedicate their time to you, those who listen to you when you cry your sorrows, those who encourage you, those who do not leave you by yourself, those who go straight ahead, those who call you when you need it, those who …

Dedicate your prayer to them today and thank them for their presence in your life.
