“We are called to overcome frontiers in search of one of the great challenges of today: reconciliation. In this, the example of St. Ignatius can serve as a guide for us”. This is one of the reminders launched by the Executive Vice President of Entreculturas, Daniel Villanueva, SJ, this Friday, August 30, at the World Youth Meeting of the Christian Life Community (CLC), which is being held virtually under the theme Embrace the world in and Ignatian way<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

In a talk on the need to weave networks in order to build the Kingdom of God, he affirmed that “as Church, we have a vocation to embrace reality from all possible perspectives,” and he valued the fact that Ignatian members make up a “diverse apostolic body that is already functioning as a network and that can lead us to a conversion capable of achieving things that were almost unimaginable until now.<\/p>\n\n

In this regard, he highlighted several examples of fields in which more and better work is being done today thanks to networks, such as the network of Jesuit schools, Magis, Ecojesuit, the Jesuit Migrant Service, or the work being done with refugees and universities.<\/p>\n\n

The leader of the Jesuit NGOD ended by posing a question to the more than 130 young people from some fifty countries: “What part of this whole process can touch you in order to grow, beyond what you may have already done for yourself?”<\/p>\n\n
